Dr. PV Ramesh, a physician by education and an international development professional by practice, brings over 35 years of experience in senior leadership roles across national and international organizations, including the Government of India, UNOPS, UNFPA, IFAD, and REC Ltd. As a governance policy and program strategist for QuorumVeda, Dr. Ramesh's diverse expertise in public policy, public financial management, public health, organizational strategy and management, governance reform, sustainable development will significantly contribute to the success of our projects.
During his illustrious career, Dr. Ramesh held positions such as Additional Chief Secretary and principal advisor to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh; Principal Finance Secretary, Principal Secretary of Medical and Health; Chairman and Managing Director of REC Limited; and senior diplomatic assignments with UNOPS, UNFPA and IFAD. He has provided strategic, operational, and technical inputs on sustainable development to governments across Asia-Pacific, Africa, West Asia, Arab States, and Europe. He managed international development finance for thirteen years, public finances for five years, and corporate finance for five years.
Dr. Ramesh's experience and expertise in building, nurturing, and mentoring multinational professional teams and establishing partnerships with public, private, non-profit organizations, multilateral and bilateral development agencies, and national and international research organizations make him an invaluable asset to Quorum Veda. Additionally, his vast experience in humanitarian relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of conflict and post-conflict countries worldwide, along with his expertise in designing regional and national development strategies and programs for sustainable, inclusive development, will greatly benefit QuorumVeda's initiatives.
